New biomass maps should be generated regularly every few days. If they don’t appear after that time, there might be a few reasons for that:
- The satellite image of your field was too cloudy. Clouds affect how much light is reflected to the satellite sensor and may result in false crop vitality data. To prevent that, SKYFLD will not generate a new biomass map if the cloud coverage exceeds 40%.
- The average biomass vitality of your field was lower than 5% (e.g., due to snow).
- The satellite captured an incomplete image. In this case, a new map will appear the next time the satellite moves over your field.
